About me
I'm Jonas Berx, student Applied Informatics at UC Leuven-Limburg specialised in Business Solutions. I spend my time programming, competing in hackatons and reading.
During my free time I used to swim. Now I spend my time learning Chinese and going to the gym to stay in shape.
In september 2020 I will spend a semester in Shanghai on Erasmus to give my future studies and career a boost with international experience.

Skills
Technologies
I have a basic knowledge of Python scripting to automate simple tasks.
I have an intermediate knowledge of Javascript to automate simple tasks. I'm currently using Javascript do develop a chat application using asynchronous javascript.
I am currently enrolled in a C# & WPF course.
I have a broad knowledge of Java and its various components.
During my first and second year of Applied Informatics I've been in contact with the basics of CSS
Every IT'er has at least some knowledge of HTML5 and Web design.
People skills
I am extraverted with born leadership. I've lead small projects and delivered quality products.
Even as a leader you have to listen to your team. I take input from every member of my team to create an optimal view together.
I've been active in multiple small software project using TDD or BDD.

A java web application made for Ipsos. It allows colleagues to award each other for helping each other. This project is not fully functional anymore because the database connection was cut.
